Position Title<\/strong>: Faculty Member for Master of Music Program<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Type<\/strong>: Full-time\/Part-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Deliver high-quality teaching for Master of Music courses, covering both theory and practice in areas including but not limited to:
    1. Music Performance<\/li>
    2. Composition and Arrangement<\/li>
    3. Music Theory and Analysis<\/li>
    4. Music Education and Research Methods<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    5. Supervise graduate students in academic research, independent study, or thesis writing.<\/li>
    6. Actively participate in curriculum development, quality assurance process, and contribute to the program\u2019s innovation and internationalization.<\/li>
    7. Conduct academic research in music-related fields and publish high-impact scholarly works.<\/li>
    8. Support other academic and administrative tasks of the department, such as student recruitment and international collaboration activities.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. Educational Background and Specialization<\/strong>:
        1. Doctor of Philosophy in Music (PhD), Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), or equivalent doctoral degree in music, with a focus on one or more of the following areas:
          1. Music, Audiovisual Arts, or Music Arts<\/li>
          2. Thai Music<\/li>
          3. Western Music<\/li>
          4. Thai Contemporary Music<\/li>
          5. Multimedia Music<\/li>
          6. Folk Music<\/li>
          7. Musicology<\/li>
          8. Music Therapy<\/li>
          9. Ethnomusicology<\/li>
          10. Music Pedagogy<\/li>
          11. Music Performance<\/li>
          12. Composition and Creative Work<\/li>
          13. Musicology (History, Theory, Ethnomusicology)<\/li>
          14. Music Technology and Industry<\/li>
          15. Music Education or Therapy
            <\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li>
          16. Academic Achievements<\/strong>:
            1. Minimum of 3 scholarly papers published in recognized journals in the past 5 years.
              <\/li><\/ol><\/li>
            2. Teaching and Professional Titles<\/strong>:
              1. Candidates with a Professor\/Associate Professor\/Assistant Professor title are preferred.<\/li>
              2. Prior teaching experience at the graduate level is a plus.
                <\/li><\/ol><\/li>
              3. Language Skills<\/strong>:
                1. Proficiency in English for teaching and academic communication.<\/li>
                2. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred (strong written and spoken communication skills in Chinese).
                  <\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                3. Other Skills<\/strong>:
                  1. Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.<\/li>
                  2. Experience in cross-cultural teaching or international collaboration is preferred.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
